My name is Emma Allen, I am a midwife at Papakura Birthing Unit and a mama to my girl Aria, and wife to my husband Trent, and dog mama to Pablo.

I will be on Maternity leave from August 2026 onwards, so I would like to welcome the beautiful Hannah Young and Sandy Stephenson! Hannah will be running Pukekohe classes and Sandy will be running Papakura classes. Both Hannah and Sandy are experienced midwives, mamas and have a passion for educating parents to be!

Know Your Birth will guide you through the stages of labour & how to best to prepare, medical interventions, pain relief options and all things babies; including feeding.
